Mellott – Mrs. Minnie Lewis, 78, died at 8:30 pm. Saturday at Westbrook Nursing Home, Crawfordsville, where she had been a patient three years. Born in Fountain County, she was a resident of Mellott most of her life. She was twice married, first to Everett Edwards and later to Charles Lewis, both of whom preceded her in death. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Eva Bowman of Wyandotte, Mich - knx

MELLOTT -- Mrs. Minnie Lewis, 78, resident nearly all of her life of this community, died at 8:30 p. m. Saturday after suffering a stroke at the Westbrook Nursing Home in Crawfordsville, where she had lived the past three years. She was born June 17, 1878, to William and Julia Williams Lamb. She was married twice, to Everett Edwards and later to Charles Lewis, both of whom are deceased. The only immediate survivor is a sister, Mrs. Eva Bowman of Wyandotte, Mich. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 1 p m. Tuesday at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Loren Hetrick, pastor of the New Antioch Christian Church of Mellott officiating. Interment will be at Manilla.  --typed by Walt W
